Mission Statement
To offer a broad range of high quality undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs that meet regional needs, to support excellence in teaching and learning, to advance and share knowledge through research and creative endeavor, and to work with the community to develop intellectual, cultural, economic, and human resources.
The mission of the Development office is to cultivate allegiance to, and generate and collect gift funds for Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).
Services To Donors
- To align donor's wishes with needs of the university
- To assist people who wish to become involved in the university with appropriate faculty and staff
- To hold in high regard the ethical practices relevant to good stewardship
- To provide a tax receipt to all people who give a gift to IPFW
Confidentiality
All biographic and financial information about donors is kept confidential. This includes name, address information, degree and gift information.
Responsibility to Constituents
All university administrative staff, faculty, volunteers and organizations have an obligation to build rapport with and provide service to alumni and donors. This objective is also the primary responsibility of the Development Office.
