The Computer Engineering Technology Bachelor of Science program prepares students for careers as professionals in many areas involving computer systems and electronics. Some of these are hardware and software support and design for industrial networking, Internet and networking control, computer systems, instrumentation, and other emerging technical areas. Program graduates have titles such as embedded software technologist, computer support specialist, networking support specialist, automation engineer, applications engineer, telecommunications engineer, network support technical/engineer, and network administrator. The department has more than 1,000 alumni with A.S. and/or B.S. degrees and hold technical and managerial positions nationwide.
