Jane R. Frazier holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Pedagogy/Acting from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU.) She has taught at IPFW since Fall 2001 and is also the current director of theatre at Manchester College. She has taught at the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, Fort Wayne Youtheatre, International Business College, VCU and IPFW. Jane has also lead several theatre workshops for students age 3 - 75 in various programs such as Martin Luther King Montessori School, Hickory Center School, IPFW's Community Arts Academy and the Allen County Probation System. Jane's paper titled "Political Musical Theatre" was presented in the panel "Visceral Grit: Three Approaches to Political Theatre in the Classroom" at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in 2008. She has served as director and assistant director/acting coach in Richmond, VA. and Northeast Indiana. Some favorite projects include, Dracula, Christmas with the Crawfords, The Most Massive Woman Wins, The Caretaker, 1984, and Little Shop of Horrors. Some of her favorite on stage roles have been Nan/Lina in Three Days of Rain; Judith Bliss in Hay Fever; Josie in A Moon for the Misbegotten; Flora in Flora, the Red Menace; Jackie and April in The Hot l Baltimore; and The Baker's Wife in Into the Wood.
