Audition requirements for voice

Voice

Applicants should prepare two songs of contrasting character. These need to be memorized with at least one classical art song or an appropriate aria. One selection should be in a language other than English to assess foreign language abilities.  Sight singing, aural perception and a dramatic reading will also be a part of the audition.  When calling to schedule your audition,indicate to the music secretary whether an accompanist will be needed for the audition. Further questions regarding the audition can be directed to the coordinator of studio voice.
