Music Therapy

Kim Lloyd graduated from Indiana University, Fort Wayne, in December of 2011 and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Music Therapy. She interned in Boston at the Shriners Burns Hospital for Children where she was able to gain experience with a variety of illnesses, recovery process, and work with patients from all over the world. She currently contracts with a local music therapy company, providing music therapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through connections with IPFW, Kim has been able to establish a working relationship with a local hospital and remains active in advocating for music therapy services.
