Vocal/Choral Ensembles

Choral Ensembles

The IPFW Choral Department offers an exceptional choral music education. Musical repertoire includes music from a wide range of time periods and styles. All ensembles enjoy an emphasis in music from other cultures and traditions as well as masterworks from the traditional western musical heritage. The Choral Department regularly collaborates with other local arts organizations such as the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Heartland Chorus. Three different choral ensembles are available at IPFW:

  1.  University Singers is the primary large ensemble on IPFW's campus, and meets three time weekly, Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 1:30-2:50 pm
  2.  Chamber Singers is a select group of highly-motivated and talented students, meeting twice weekly, Tuesday, Thursday at 1:30-2:50 pm
  3.  Choral Union is a community-based ensemble which serves faculty, staff, students, and members of the greater Fort Wayne community, and meets once weekly, Mondays from 7:30-9:30 pm.
