Filled with stories and interviews focused on art, music and theatre, tune in each week to find out what’s going on in the arts!

John O'Connell, dean of the IPFW College of Visual and Performing Arts, is the host of Arts Weekly, a local television show produced by IPFW that airs live on PBS39, Thursday nights at 7:30pm, with a rebroadcast schedule listed to the right.

Robert Nance from Heartland Chamber Chorale gives details about the Community Holocaust Commemoration concerts taking place April 27 and 28. Then John Tolley from Arena Dinner Theatre talks about their next show, “Blithe Spirit,” opening May 2.

Benjamin Rivera, director of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus will discuss the May 10 performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at the Embassy Theatre and Rod King from the Fort Wayne Community Band shares details about their May 6 concert at Rhinehart Music Center.

Thursday, May 8

Leslie Hormann from Fort Wayne Youtheatre and Alison Gerardot from Fort Wayne Dance Collective talk about Fairy Tale Fest taking place May 17 and Elizabeth Mikautadze from the Mikautadze Dance Company discussed their dance concert May 16 and 17 at IPFW’s Williams Theatre.

Ruth Stone and Irene Walters from Sculpture with Purpose discuss this IPFW 50th Anniversary even in conjunction with the downtown festival, Kickstart, May 17. Then Fort Wayne native and artist Terry Ratliff stops by to discuss his work and artistic career.

Karen Richards from the Mayor’s Office and Nicole Keesling, a senior at Canterbury School who is on the Mayor’s Youth Engagement Council, drop by to talk about Fort Wayne’s Almost Famous, this year a part of Riverpalooza, taking place May 31. Then Marshall White, founder of Unity Performing Arts Foundation, shares the details about the Voices of Unity and their upcoming programming.

Morgan McClarnon, Brennan Stillman, Gloria Minnich and Marcy Trentacosti, instructors from the IPFW Community Arts Academy, talk about summer art, dance, music and theatre programs for kids all ages.
