Visiting Assistant Professor in Psychology

Education:

Ph.D., Central Michigan University, Experimental Psychology, 2015

Courses:
PSY 102  Elementary Psychology
PSY 314  Introduction to Learning
PSY 329  Biological Psychology

Research Interests:
I have previously worked in animal models of neurodegenerative diseases, and traumatic spinal cord injury, as well as adult stem cell therapies for each, and the mechanisms of pain after spinal cord injury.  My future research path is currently undecided, but I would like to potentially explore the impact that spontaneous or age-related pain has on learning and memory in rodents, as well as the effects of an enriched environment on pain perceptions.
