Pi Mu Epsilon is a National Mathematics Honor Society.

The purpose of PME is the promotion of scholarly activity in mathematics among the students in academic institutions.

The local chapter at IPFW is the Indiana Zeta chapter, established in 2003.

The 2016 installation ceremony was Sunday, April 24, 2:00 in KT 216.

Jay Bagga, IPFW Visiting Researcher, and Ball State University Department of Computer Science, gave a short presentation on The Mathematics and Technology of Elections and Voting, followed by a reception in the Kettler first-floor lounge.
