If you are deciding on a major in the College of Arts and Sciences, are a new student transferring into IPFW, or have been readmitted or placed on academic probation, you should meet with an advisor in the COAS Advising Office.
Christa Van De Weg, Coordinator of Advising
Office: Liberal Arts Building, Room 154
To schedule an appointment with Christa Van De Weg, please use AdvisorTrac or contact the COAS receptionist.
Sue Miller, COAS receptionist
Office: Liberal Arts Building, Room 153
If you have declared your major, you will be assigned a faculty advisor in that major. You can locate your faculty advisor’s information under your myIPFW enrollment tab or on your myBLUEprint Worksheet. This myIPFW screenshot example displays where your advisor's name and email is located. If you do not see an advisor listed, you can contact a COAS advisor for assistance.
All departments also have a lead advisor. The lead advisor in each department can assist prospective students with questions related to degree requirements, career opportunities, salary information, etc.
myBLUEprint is now available for students currently under the 2012-2013 or newer bulletin. This valuable tool will help you track your progress toward graduation. Check out myBLUEprint under your myIPFW enrollment tab.
