The IPFW Radiography Program prepares students for a career as a radiographer.  Employment opportunities for radiographers continue to grow as a result of technological advances and the country-wide need for healthcare specialists. Radiographers have an extremely flexible career. They can choose to be employed in hospitals, clinics, and doctor’s offices and have the opportunity to work various hours and schedules.  Radiographers can seek advanced practical opportunities by furthering their education in areas such as CT, MRI, interventional radiography, cardiac catheterization, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, ultrasound, management, or medical imaging education. In addition, jobs in industry, civil service, public health, equipment manufacturing and supply, and research centers are also available.
