Paul Helmke School of Public & Environmental Affairs Scholarship

To be eligible:
  • Junior class standing beginning the fall semester in which the award begins
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Enrolled for at least six credit hours each semester the scholarship monies are received
  • Award(s) are based on merit and financial need.
To apply:
  • Complete IPFW Common Scholarship application and a FAFSA application
  • Submit to the Department of Public Policy Scholarship Committee Chairperson a two page, double-spaced and typed essay discussing how this scholarship and your public policy education will help you to contribute to public and community service in a manner that emulates the values of the career of Paul Helmke, the former mayor of the City of Fort Wayne.

This scholarship is applied toward tuition and fees. May be renewed for one additional year based on satisfactory progress in the student's degree program.
