Community Achievement Award

Congratulations to Geoff Paddock, Executive Director of Headwaters Park Flood Control Project and a member of Fort Wayne City Council, on being named the 2015 Community Achievement Award recipient.  This award was presented to Mr. Paddock at the Department of Public Policy Graduation Award reception on April 20, 2015.

Student Success Story

Kody Tinnel earned a B.S.P.A. in Public Management in 2012 and an M.P.A. in May 2015. His professional experience includes various roles at IPFW and a position at Community Action of Northeast Indiana (now called Brightpoint). He recently accepted a new role in the Department of Human Resources at Fort Wayne Community Schools, where he recruits prospective employees and assists with the hiring process. In 2014, Kody was appointed to the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission. He believes his education from the Department of Public Policy has given him the knowledge and skills necessary to be a valuable member of the greater community.
