plus one semester of practicum!! 
 

New Option - Alternate Location & Accelerated Program

Offering: Mild Intervention License Graduate Program (18 credit hours)
When you have completed the program you may apply for an Indiana State Mild Intervention License.

Accelerated:  1 year of coursework and 1 semester of practicum (may be completed in your special education classroom)

Where:  You can select to attend class on the IPFW campus in Fort Wayne, IN or at the Garrett Learning Center, 510 South 2nd Street, Garrett, IN.  Courses are offered in a combination of delivery modes; traditional (face-to-face), online, hybrid, and via appropriate technology (like Skype).


Requirements: General Education Teacher license, successful completion of 18 credit hours, and pass the Pearson Exceptional Needs- Mild Intervention test

K595 (practicum of 240 hours- may be completed in your
special education classroom)

Courses may be used towards completion of a Master’s of Science in Education with a Major in Special  Education degree.
