Welcome to the IPFW Immigrant Literacy Program sponsored by the Educational Studies department in the College of Education and Public Policy. We tutor students in grades kindergarten to eighth grade. Most of the students involved in this program are recent immigrants from Burma, but students from other countries have also attended. Students from Thailand, the Congo, Samaria, Mexico, Bosnia, Latin America, the Sudan, and China have also participated. This program just celebrated its 10-year anniversary and has served over 1,000 students during its history.
If you would like to volunteer and tutor a student on Saturday morning contact us.
