The Doermer School of Business (DSB) at IPFW will host the 2014 Doermer Dialogue with John Zeglis Friday, April 25, 2014 in the Walb Union International.
John Zeglis is the former chairman and CEO of AT&T Wireless. He is currently founder and chairman of the Fort Wayne, Mad Ants of the NBA D-League. Zeglis earned a law degree from Harvard Law School where he was a senior editor of the Harvard Law Review. Zeglis began his career in law in private practice as an associate with Sidley & Austin eventually becoming a partner in the firm. In 1984, John joined AT&T as corporate Vice President - law. He served in a series of executive assignments with increasing responsibility before being named President of AT&T in 1997. In December, 1999, John was elected Chairman and CEO of AT&T Wireless. He also serves as a board member on numerous boards of trustees, as well as, a director for several corporations. John will speak on the topic " World class management in a global economy - how communication and technology can help"
The event will begin as 7:oo a.m. with networking and 7:30 a.m. continental breakfast. Registration for all tickets is required and may be done so at 2014doermerdialogue.eventbrite.com. Tickets for the Doermer Dialogue are $35 per person; IPFW Students who register and have a valid student ID will be admitted FREE.
