The Remnant Trust at IPFW Hosts "The Wealth of Today’s Nations: Rediscovering Adam Smith"
In a corporate environment marked by scandal, can the father of economics give us insight into business and ethics? The public will have the chance to find out, Friday, April 17, at the symposium, “The Wealth of Today’s Nations: Rediscovering Adam Smith,” from 8:30 to 11 a.m. in the Rhinehart Music Center. The keynote speaker is business ethics scholar Patricia Werhane, the Wicklander Chair of Business Ethics at DePaul University. Following the keynote address, a panel of local business leaders, along with Werhane, will discuss the relevance of Adam Smith in today’s world.
