Programs are developed and led by IPFW faculty and vary according to their research and schedule.
Trip Registration
Trips are open to the public unless noted otherwise. All have a credit option (additional tuition cost applies). Please refer to Travel Participant Application
for payments and refund information. Each trip varies in terms of the specific expenses covered by the registration fees. In general, the following expenses are included in fees:
- Round trip international flights; housing/accommodations (double or group occupancy)
- Some – but not all – meals, except the Strasbourg trip, where students can buy a dorm cafeteria card
- Ground transportation to/from airport is usually included
- Entrance fees to museums and historical sites is often included, but additional side trips offered are optional
- Study abroad insurance coverage (including coverage for emergency medical treatment and transportation)
Expenses for additional meals, personal items, tips & gratuities, free time activities, admissions and entertainment, and souvenirs are considered out-of-pocket expenses. This cost will be estimated during pre-travel orientation sessions. Each traveler is responsible for their own portion of these expenses.
