The SPOT provides academic assistance for all IPFW students with their content classes and/or study strategies. Students meet with a tutor or professional staff to talk about and work on the understanding of specific material. The center is staffed by experienced tutors and staff who have been trained to help others.

The SPOT is closed during final exam week, vacation periods, and the first week of each semester.

The Math Test Center is for students who elect to take Out-of-Class Testing or Flex Pacing. The center is staffed by experienced math teacher assistants.

Writing Center
Every writer needs a reader.

Hours: Sun: 1-5 p.m.; M: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tues-Thurs: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; F: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

What does the Writing Center offer?
- Free 25- or 50-minute individual or group conferences
- Online consulting
- Writing handouts to help organization, style, etc.
- Style manuals, reference texts, and grammar and usage guides available for in-center use
It is best to make an appointment, but drop-ins may be available.The Writing Center is open daily except Saturday. The Writing Center is closed during final exam week, vacation periods, and the first week of each semester.
