WEST LAFAYETTE MEETING
Louise Misegades. The various committee chairs of CSSAC and APSAC (ASC) were invited to meet the new president of Purdue at 8 am on Monday, May 7. This was before the formal announcement was made. They were very impressed with her because she was very easy to talk with and wanted to know a lot about what they were interested in at the workplace. She stated that she considered herself a staff person.
If a person wants an “A” parking permit at West Lafayette, it will cost $250 per year.
John Beelke stated that OnePurdue conversion will be starting in May. They will be checking the system, hardware, etc. The Health Plan Advisory Committee sent a proposal to the administration recommending a basic dental coverage with a Purdue subsidy with the 2008 year. Changes in the pharmacy benefits are also under review.
There was a presentation on the Wellness initiative.
