Exit Interview for Student Loans
IPFW is required by federal regulations to perform exit interviews with students who received any Federal Stafford Loans or Perkins Loans during their studies at the university.
Exit interviews are required when a student graduates or leaves the university.
An exit interview is an effort to make you aware of your repayment responsibilities, familiarize you with your lender(s), give you examples of repayment schedules, and to answer any questions you may have regarding your loan(s). The interview lasts about 40 minutes.
You may complete your Stafford Loan exit interview online or in person. Perkins Loan exit interviews must be completed by attending an exit interview group session (not available on line). You will be mailed a schedule of exit interview dates for both Stafford and Perkins Loans in the month prior to graduation. Please come prepared by bringing a pen and the name of your lender(s) so that you may complete the exit interview form.
If you have any questions regarding the Stafford Loan Interview, please contact the Financial Aid office at 260-481-6820 or e-mail lewisC@ipfw.edu.
