Mission
The mission of the IPFW Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program is to offer high-quality, academically-enhancing paid employment opportunities to bachelor’s degree students. We strive to prepare them intellectually, technically, culturally, ethically, professionally, and socially for the demands and opportunities of an increasingly changing world.
Vision
Be the premier undergraduate academic Cooperative Education Program in northern Indiana known for:
- The outstanding quality of academic preparation of IPFW co-op students.

- Promote affirmative action through individual and organizational efforts.
- Encourage the personal and professional development of IPFW students.

- Maintain the integrity of the educational process as the primary focus of Cooperative Education.
- Provide individual guidance to Cooperative Education students.
- Recognize that the employing organization assumes the primary role as educator while supervising students.
