Overview
The IPFW Child Care Center offers child care and education for those needing flexible hourly care or a more traditional care schedule. The Center is committed to providing young children with a learning environment that models excellence in early childhood education. There are several options available for the care and education of children ages 2-12 years old. IPFW students, faculty, staff, and students of other colleges and universities are welcome to enroll at the IPFW Child Care Center.
Our philosopy and practices are based on guidelines set forth by the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Child Care Center offers observational experiences for students in the fields of education, psychology, and others. We also collaborate with university departments on special projects. The child care staff is a mix of full-time experienced and appropriately degreed early childhood teachers and enthusiastic students who are primarily pursuing degrees in education or other childhood related fields.
