We will encourage your child to do their homework, but a child who is only in attendance for a couple of hours may find it difficult to complete, depending on the activities taking place at the time of his/her attendance.

Snacks

We serve three light snacks each day: morning, afternoon, and evening. At the IPFW Child Care Center, we care about all aspects of your child’s growth and development. We feel that an important part of the childhood experience is learning about food and the importance it plays in our well-being; consequently, we serve snacks that are free of preservatives and additives, and we include fresh fruit and vegetables. The snack fee paid at registration covers the cost of snacks for your child(ren).

School Bus Riders: Some local schools are able to drop children at the center after school via school bus. It is the responsibility of the parent to arrange this transportation.

Important: Most school bus drivers will not drive the large school buses into our parking lot; hence, children are dropped off at the corner of the parking lot on Hobson Road. The personnel at the Child Care Center are not responsible for bus riders until the child has entered our building. At that time, the director or assistant director will check the child in on the computer and walk the child to his/her classroom. It is extremely important that the parent call the center to report the absence of an expected bus rider.
