Our Policies

No student or employee will be subjected to discriminatory treatment or be excluded from participation in any program or activity on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, age, national origin or ancestry, disability, or status as a disabled or Vietnam-era veteran.

  1. The center incurs staffing and other operating costs based on expected daily attendance. As such, you will be charged each day for the hours of child care that you have scheduled for that day, whether or not your children is (are) in attendance during those times.
  2. While your children's scheduled child care hours may be changed, this is normally possible only when it is the result of changes in your university class schedule.
  3. Occasional care is available, but only as space and staffing permit. Regular registration procedures must be completed before this service can be provided. Please contact us for further information.
  4. Your child must be registered by the Thursday prior to the start of the fall and spring semesters, or your child will be required to wait one week to begin attendance.

Withdrawal Policy

If you withdraw from the university, you lose your privileges at the center. You must notify the director of this action. If the director is not informed, you will be charged for scheduled hours. If you drop a class, but keep your student status, you may keep the block of hours scheduled for that class if you choose.

To withdraw from the center for other reasons, you must notify the director one week in advance or your account will be charged for the week’s fees.

Holidays/Cancellation of Classes

You will not be charged for regularly scheduled hours that fall on an official university holiday or on days when weather forces cancellation of all campus classes.

Early Closings

The following Fridays, the center will close at 3:30 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. for staff meetings and training.
