  • A lock box for payments is located to the upper left of the check-in computer.
  • Balances for the current semester must be paid in full on your child’s last day of attendance.
  • A “hold” will be placed on your university account for unpaid balances.
  • Child care privileges will be lost if balances are not current.
  • See director or assistant director if payment becomes difficult.

Agency Payments

IPFW Child Care Center accepts payments from CANI, Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation, JobWorks, and others. Any paperwork required is the responsibility of the parent. Any fees not paid by the agency are the responsibility of the parent.

Tax Statements

Tax statements of your child care fees are available upon request. These are run at the end of each semester and are available one week later.

Child Care Emergency Fund Grants

These grants were established in fall 1996 to assist students who are unable to continue with the semester’s course work and child care because other grant monies have been exhausted. Criteria for grant eligibility are the following:

  • Must be an IPFW student enrolled for 6 or more credits
  • Must have a child currently attending the IPFW Child Care Center
  • Class attendance must approximate the scheduled child care hours.

Only one grant is awarded per family and will pay up to 75 percent of the fees for eight weeks. Grants are awarded to qualified candidates each semester until funds are exhausted. Gifts are decided by the Emergency Grant Committee comprising the director of financial aid, director of the Child Care Center, and the director of the Center for Women and Returning Adults.
