Research Certificate

The research certificate provides opportunities for students to engage in active learning opportunities integrating original research and the undergraduate curricula by:

  • Learning research methods and tools appropriate to Chemistry and the student's research interests within the discipline;

  • Learning the foundations of research in the history, philosophy, and theory of the discipline;

  • Learning advanced communications skills; and

  • Applying these learnings by designing and executing a research study or project and communicating the results to others.
