IRSC Faculty Community Engagement Grant Call for Proposals

Administrative Access 

PDS Access 

Objective

To support research by faculty members engaged in mutually beneficial partnerships with the community (broadly defined).

Eligibility

All tenure-track and tenured faculty are eligible to apply except faculty with 12-month appointments.

Award

Grant amount is $8000 paid as a taxable stipend. The grant period is the summer following award notification. Faculty cannot teach during the summer.

Proposals are due no later than 3:00 pm on Monday, February 20, 2017.

Requirements

Within two years of receiving the award, successful applicants must present results of the project at the annual Scholarship and Society at IPFW (SASI) event and one of the following:

  • Submit an article to the IPFW undergraduate research journal Investigations 
  • Submit an article to the community outreach magazine Connect
