Staff Role:
As the Coordinator of the Writing Center, I am responsible for defining and communicating the mission, goals, and objectives of the IPFW Writing Center and its role within the university. In addition, I develop and direct the operations of the Writing Center, including consultations, programs, orientations, workshops, and procedures. My current areas of interest include variances in literacy practices associated with gender and physical ability, adult developmental literacy, and how the physiological processes of shame impact learning and literacy.
Talking with students, faculty, and staff about any aspect of writing, the writing process, or the Writing Center is a deep pleasure, and I hope to spark that enthusiasm throughout our campus! Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
