Staff
- Jill Parker, Director of Career Services
Serves as the Director of Career Services and has worked at IPFW since 2001. I graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Systems, specializing in both mental health and career counseling; I am also a National Certified Counselor. My worst job ever was working the drive-through at McDonalds on the 5:30 AM-1 PM shift, and my most favorite job is my current one at IPFW. - Ashley McArdle, Assistant Director of Career Services
Has been with Career Services since July 2004. I have a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University, Fort Wayne, IN and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN. My worst job was working as a data entry clerk for a title company in Chicago and my most memorable job was coaching high school tennis. - Karen Obringer, Career Counselor
joined the Career Services staff in July 2007, shortly after achieving my Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University. Prior to IPFW I worked as a Campus Minister, Substitute Teacher and also at a YMCA camp where I had the opportunity to handle horses, lead trail rides and ring lessons which is one of my favorite activities still today. I also had the distinct opportunity, one summer, to work in a factory cleaning metal parts which motivated me more to continue with my education and achieve my degrees.
- Christina Mosteller, Career Counselor
I graduated in May of 2007 with a Master of Education with a concentration in College Student Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Career Counseling from the University of South Florida. I am enjoying my first year at IPFW, but not sure it will measure up to my best job ever as a performer at Busch Gardens Theme Park in Tampa. - Cassandra Bracht, Career Peer
I recently graduated from IPFW with a B.A. in Psychology and became the Career Peer of Career Services in August of 2007. My worst job entailed cleaning out horse stalls day after day, but I have grown from that experience and currently hold my favorite job. - Joan Bentz, Secretary Employment Services
I have been the Employment Services Secretary in the Career Services Office at IPFW since 1999. I have helped coordinate job fairs, campus interviews, resume referrals & JobZone - Marla Brenneke, Secretary Student Employment
I have been with IPFW for 20 years. Currently I am Secretary of Student Employment in Career Services. I am responsible for Career Services web pages and the office budget. I also helped develop the Job Location and Development (JLD) job posting system at IPFW and oversee the work-study, full-time nondegree, and part-time postings.
