Get the jump on the competition! Auditions to be accepted into university music programs are just around the corner. The College Vocal Audition Workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn in a supportive and schooled environment from university professors, those same people for whom you will be auditioning to get into college. High school juniors and seniors will be given preference for placement in this workshop but freshmen and sophomores will be able to take part if space permits. Participants will learn audition etiquette and what it takes to be a music major, plus will have individual voice lessons and rehearsals with IPFW faculty members, and auditions with customized feedback. Instructors: IPFW Music Department faculty members Sam Savage, Julie Donnell and Mark Stachofsky.
Saturday, Jan. 5, 12 noon to 5:15 p.m.
The cost for this half-day workshop is $49.
This workshop takes place in Rhinehart Music Center on the campus of IPFW.
