Welcome to the Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) West Point (WP) Bridge Contest website. The WP Bridge Design Software can be downloaded via the web from this link, West Point Bridge Design Contest website.
The local contest, IPFW WP Bridge Contest, is similar to the national contest. You can participate in both the local and national contests. When you register, identify IPFW, in order to be considered for the local contest. The local contest rules are similar to the rules on the West Point Bridge Design Contest rules with the following changes:
Who: Anyone may enter the contest. Only students age 13 and older but not yet graduated from high school and who can travel to IPFW for the Final Round are eligible for awards. Please note that there are no awards for 2007.
When: You may submit designs for the local contest beginning (Dates for the
2007 contest will be announced in late fall or early winter 2006) January 2 until
May 30, 2007.
