Commencement: May 13, 2009
On May 13, 2009, the Richard T. Doermer School of Business and Management Sciences graduated 256 students for the 2008-2009 academic year. Seventy-three students received the Associat
e of Science in Business, 123 students received the Bachelor of Science in Business, two students received the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting, and 58 students earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA).
At the Pre-Commencement Celebration, special awards and recognition were given. Among the many awards given was the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key given to Amy Collins for graduating with the highest GPA. Heather Benfield was awarded the Wall Street Journal Award for her outstanding academic record and Heather Benfield was also chosen by the faculty to receive the school's Student Leadership Award.
