Biology at IPFW is rich and diverse. We provide not only a broad range of undergraduate courses, but also have an excellent graduate program. Check out our newsletters to get some of the latest and greatest about what's up.

Biology has great facilities for its teaching and research programs, and its faculty represent many different fields within biology. They currently work on aquatic ecology, behavior, botany, conservation, ecotoxicology, evolutionary biology, genetics, herpetology, immunology, molecular biology, physiological ecology, stress physiology and virology.

Interested students can participate in research projects or in other forms of scholarly activity with individual faculty members. See our student research link to find out more.

We have several undergraduate tracks you can choose from. Our advising team stands ready to help you figure out what courses you need to take and suggest what other opportunities might await you while at IPFW.
