Mission

AV Technology Services is responsible for providing audio, video, and data technology services for support of academic excellence and student learning at IPFW.

Audio, video, and data technology services, as defined in this mission statement, includes resources and systems for providing traditional classroom instructional support; current and emerging technologies related to audio, video and data systems in support of academic activities, student activities, campus community events, and scholarly endeavor.

AVTS will meet these responsibilities through collaborations with other campus service organizations, academic and administrative departments, and with related Purdue University and Indiana University resources.

The primary goal of AVTS is to be a model service organization which provides timely AV technology support services to the campus community in support of excellence in teaching and learning as stated in the Mission, Values, and Vision of the IPFW Strategic Plan.
