UCSN Completes Sweep of Mastodons

Fort Wayne, IN- #8 Cal. State Northridge completed a weekend sweep of IPFW with a 3-0 win, Saturday night at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center.

The Matadors won by the scores of 30-28, 30-22, and 30-26

In a well played match, UCSN out-hit IPFW .418 to .364.

The Matadors were led by Nils Nielsen with 19 kills.

IPFW senior opposite Matt Zbyszewski matched Nielsen with 19 kills of his own to go along with seven digs and a hitting percentage of .256.

With the win, Northridge improves to 14-10, while IPFW falls to 8-12.

The Mastodons have now finished an 0-5 non-conference stretch in their schedule. The return to MIVA action next weekend at Loyola-Chicago (4/1) and Clarke (4/2).
