Volleydons Fall to #5 Santa Barbara

Long Beach, CA- The IPFW men's volleyball team dropped their first match of the Long Beach State Active Ankle Beach Bash, on Friday night in California. The 'Dons were shutout by #5 UC-Santa Barbara, 3-0.

The Gauchos won by the scores of 30-20, 30-24, and 30-25.

Santa Barbara hit a blistering .444 in the match, led by Michael Kennedy with 14 kills (.650) and Adam Ulfers with 13 kills.

IPFW was led by senior opposite Matt Zbyszewski who put down a match-high 15 kills.

The Mastodons (8-9) have lost two straight. They return to action Saturday night, facing host Long Beach State.
