Buckeyes Sweep IPFW

Columbus, OH - After dropping three straight matches, #14 Ohio State won their third straight match, with a 3-0 sweep of IPFW, Friday night in Columbus, Ohio.

The Buckeyes won by the scores of 30-21, 33-31, 30-21.

Mark Greaves led OSU with 15 kills in the match. Andy Cole added eleven.

IPFW was led by senior outside hitter Matt Zbyszewski and junior middle hitter Serdar Sicka each with ten kills.

IPFW suffered through a very cold hitting night, mustering only a .213 hitting percentage. Ohio State slugged .359

Ohio State improves to 13-5, (6-1 MIVA) while IPFW falls to 6-7, (4-4 MIVA).

The Mastodons return to action Saturday afternoon (3/5) hosting Clarke College in a 3pm match at the Gates Center.
