IPFW Downs Findlay, 3-1

Findlay, OH - IPFW traveled to Findlay tonight for their second match against the University of Findlay in MIVA play. The Volleydons once again downed the Oilers with final scores of 30-26, 30-22, 28-30, and 30-22. IPFW is now 3-3 and 2-1 in the MIVA.

Senior outside hitter Matt Zbyszewski (Toronto, ON, Canada/Martingrove) led the Dons with 17 kills. He also recorded four digs and seven block assists. Senior outside hitter Mitch Dreisbach (Mishawaka, IN/Penn) had 11 kills for the evening.

Junior middle hitter Serdar Sikca (Istanbul, Turkey/St. George's) led the Dons in blocks with ten assists. Junior setter Mike Randolph (Columbus, OH/Bishop Watterson) recorded 40 assists for the evening.

For Findlay, C.J. Macias had thirty kills. Chris Keen recorded 59 assists for the Oilers.

The Dons out-blocked the Oilers 15 to 5.5 and outhit them .456 to .258.

IPFW is on the road this weekend with a match at Quincy University on Saturday, February 5 starting at 7 pm.
