Ohio State Survives in Five
Fort

The Ohio State Buckeyes got up off the canvas to score a five-game
come from behind win over the IPFW men's volleyball team
Saturday night, at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center.
The Mastodons
won the first two games 30-28 and 31-29, and held a match point
in the third game, before OSU stormed back to take the final
games 31-29, 30-18, and 15-11.
Mark Greaves
and Sam Stevens turned up the heat for #11 Ohio State in games
four and five. Graves finished the match with 26 kills, while
Stevens chipped in thirteen. Greaves added 11 digs for his
double-double.
IPFW senior
opposite Matt Zbyszewski, playing his final home regular season
match, led all scorers with 30 kills and 32.5 points.
Junior Serdar
Sikca added 13 kills, a solo block, and 6 block assists, for
17 points.
IPFW finishes
the regular season at 11-16 and 8-8 in the conference. Ohio
State, who finished second in the conference at 21-7 and 14-2.
IPFW will
host Findlay University in the first round of the MIVA championships
next Saturday (4/23) at 7pm.
