Arnie’s Army Recruits Two

Fort Wayne, IN- Dan McNerney and Brock Ullrich have enlisted in “Arnie’s Army”. Both will be ready for action in the 2005 season.

McNerney is 6'5” ½ outside hitter from Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Last year, as a Junior, Dan was named Delaware Player of the Year by the Delaware Volleyball Coaches' Association and by The News Journal. This award recognized him as the best all-around Volleyball player in the State. It was the first time that the award was given to a junior.

This season, McNerney has led his high school team to a very successful season. They are 15 -1 heading into the Championship Tournament and are the 2-time defending Champions. Individually, Dan has been within one point of a triple/double on several occasions. He is averaging more than 10 kills and 10 assists per match, and he had 14 aces in a match.

Ullrich is a 6'6” outside hitter from Winfield, Illinois. He will graduate from Wheaton North High School this June where he is having a great senior season, leading his high school into the playoffs with a 19-5 record.

He also plays for Sports Performance Volleyball Club out of West Chicago, Illinois.
