Zbyszewski's 25 Kills Leads 'Dons past Oilers

Findlay, OH -IPFW made it two straight, beating the University of Findlay Oilers 3-1, in MIVA action Tuesday night in Ohio.

The Mastodons topped the Oilers by the scores of 30-17, 24-30, 30-25, and 30-23.

Senior rightside Matt Zbyszewski, the reigning MIVA player of the week, had another outstanding match, with 25 kills, 2 aces, 4 block assists, and a hitting percentage of .415.

Freshman Josh Collins was the only other Mastodon in double figure kills with ten.

Sophomore Mike Daiga had the most efficient hitting night for IPFW, logging a .583.

Findlay was led by Jeff Overfield with 21 kills.

The Mastodons (12-7, 10-2 MIVA) will play at Loyola-Chicago at 7 p.m. on Friday and Clarke College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
