2003 Season
As a Mastodon, Sherman is a three year letter winner while participating
in 15 matches.. In this season, Sherman has racked up an impressive
.889 serving percentage.
2002 Season
Sherman played in all 24 matches to earn his second letter. He
had a career best four digs in back to back matches against Quincy
and Lewis.
2001 Season
Sherman saw very little court time but when he did get into the
game, he made his presence known. In his second match of his
college career, Coach Ball called on him to serve. He squared
up on the line and served a tough one that barely made it across
the net. The opposing player went for it and the ball shanked
off his arms. He went flying through the air and in seconds was
enveloped by his teammates in a massive bear hug.
High School
Sherman was named to the state championship all-tournament team
along with being honored to participate in the All-Star game.
Personal
Dustin is the son of Dennis and Rosie Sherman. He has two sisters,
Amber and Toni.
