Hemphill saw action in 13 matches for the ‘Dons in 2005.
He had 38 kills, averaging 1.19 per game. He also had 34
digs, giving him 1.06 per game. Hit a season-best .278
against Loyola University-Chicago on April 1st. Had a season-high
seven digs against Clarke, at the Gates Center, on 3/5.
Hemphill fired off four service aces in 2005 to go along
with seven total blocks.
High School
Hemphill was the Captain of Team Alaska's men's volleyball team.
He was also MVP and All-Conference (Mid-Alaska) for basketball
his senior year.
Personal
Hemphill is the son of Jim Hemphill and Pam Wells and the stepson
of Charles Wells and Elsie Hemphill. He has five siblings,
Tara, Ashley, Micah, Jessica and Kaylub.
