Mastodons Push Past Jaguars in Three

Indianapolis, IN - The IPFW Women's Volleyball team traveled to IUPUI for a tough match on Friday night. The Mastodons defeated the Jaguars in three games. Games one and three went to extra points with final scores of 31-29, 30-22, 35-33.

Nicole Howell led the Dons with 14 kills and 11 digs. Howell hit a .316 for the evening.

Fabiana Souza was close behind with 12 kills. She also put up two block solos and three block assists.

Amanda Pfister put up 11 kills and hit an impressive .400 for the contest.

Erika Leitzke put up 33 assists while Jessica Dominiak had twelve. Peachy Jankowski dug up 18 balls for the Mastodons.

Claire Jackson recorded five block assists for the contest, tying Souza. Overall the Dons had 10 team blocks.

For IUPUI, Casey Chrzatowski had 16 kills while Erin Jones had 20 digs. Devika Bellamy put up 40 assists and Tracey Bailey and Lauren Konopka each had four blocks.

IPFW is now 17-4 going into Chicago State on Sunday. Game time is 2 pm at CSU. Next Saturday they travel to Saint Louis University before returning home for their final two regular season matches against Valparaiso (Nov. 1) and Oakland University (Nov. 5).
