Mastodons Move Up in NCAA Rankings

Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW Women's Volleyball team moved up in the NCAA rankings for games through October 16. Fabiana Souza moved back into the rankings as well.

In the NCAA rankings the Mastodons remained ranked in digs per game at 26th with 17.74 digs/game. IPFW also holds a 0.842 winning percentage to keep them in the 26th spot in that ranking.

Souza moved back into the top 30 for kills per game. She is 25th in the nation with 4.78 kills/game.

The Mastodons fell in the AVCA/RichKern.com RKPI rankings for their fourth computer index. IPFW is now 73rd as ranked by the RKPI and 13th in the Mideast Region. In the Mideast the Mastodons are ranked above Western Michigan (MAC) and Iowa (Big Ten). Overall the Dons are ranked higher than nine MAC and two Big Ten teams.
