Falcons Defeat Mastodons

Bowling Green, OH - The IPFW Women's Volleyball team suffered their third loss at Bowling Green State Wednesday night. The Falcons defeated the Mastodons in three games, (27-30, 18-30, 24-30).

IPFW was led by Fabiana Souza who recorded a double-double with 16 kills and 11 digs. Erika Leitzke put up 27 assists and four digs for the Dons.

Claire Jackson put up two block assists while Souza put up a block solo and an assist.

The Falcons were led by Ashlei Nofzinger with 20 kills while Chrissy Gothke put up 14 kills. Chelsey Meek dug up 15 balls while Emily Manser dug up 14. Gothke also had 29 assists for the night.

The Mastodons are now 14-3 going into a three game home stand. They will host Wright State on Saturday at 5 pm and Indiana State on Sunday at 5 pm. IPFW will then host Eastern Michigan on Tuesday at 7 pm in the Gates Center.
