Little Snow Couldn't Stop the Mastodons
Fargo,
ND -
Traveling to North Dakota State required a change in the weather for the Mastodons.
Snow was forecasted and a bit fell, but the Mastodons
had no problem with the Bison, defeating them in three
games.
The Mastodons
took the match with final scores of 30-24, 30-26, 30-23.
IPFW is now 13-2 and easily on their way to another 20
win season.
Fabiana
Souza led the Dons again with 19 kills. Jessica
Miller led the freshman class with nine kills.
Erika
Leitzke put
up 40 assists for IPFW while Peachy Jankowski dug
up 12 balls.
Ellyann
Bahlman stepped
up in the blocking department, posting two block solos
and two block assists. Claire Jackson and
Miller each put up three block assists.
For the
Bison, Kelly Lopez had 11 kills and Bethany Boelter and
Sheila Parrish each put up 18 assists.
The Mastodons
will now travel to South Dakota State for a match tomorrow
night starting at 7 pm. Their next home match is Saturday,
October 15 versus Wright State starting at 5 pm.
