But, Fall in Five

Bloomington, IN -Close games, blowouts, big leads lost, and when it came down to the end, it was a final five point sprint to the finish. The winner of that sprint was Indiana, holding off IPFW in five games 30-32, 30-16, 24-30, 30-22, and 15-11.

The Hoosiers and Mastodons absolutely got after it tonight in Bloomington. For the match, IU out hit IPFW .376 to .238, including a .613 mark in game two which they ran and hid to a 14 point margin.

Game five was a mirror image of the entire match. IPFW grabbed a two point lead at 6-4, but IU ran off four straight points to take an 8-6 lead. The match was tied at 10, setting up a run to the finish, which IU (6-2) was able to complete.
