‘Dons Top Wright State for Fifth Straight

Fort Wayne, IN- It was a successful going away party for Janelle Pollard, Lindsay Brammer, and Lindi Bankowski on Saturday afternoon. The Mastodons treated their seniors to a 3-0 win over Wright State on “Senior Day”.

IPFW topped WSU by the scores of 30-25, 30-26, and 30-26.

Junior middle hitter Fabiana Souza recorded her 15th double-double of the season with 17 kills and 15 digs.

She was joined in the double digit kill column by sophomore middle hitter Claire Jackson, and senior outside hitter Janelle Pollard, with 11 kills each.

Senior setter Lindi Bankowski also registered a double-double with 42 assists and ten digs.

Freshman libero Peachy Jankowski matched Bankowski’s dig total of ten.

With the win, IPFW is now 17-8, and travels to Oakland for a rematch with the Grizzlies. The Mastodons beat the Grizzlies 3-0, at the Gates Center, on October 16th.
